Please read my current story; it was the hardest decision I've ever made to share it with everyone. And then you will find out how and why I chose the Tableware business at the end.

In 2017, my husband and I, along with our two-year-old son, moved from Italy to New Zealand.
Like many mums, I put my son’s health first and paused my career as a Beauty Therapist to care for him. During that time at home, I started a small online tableware business, bringing a piece of my culture into my new home.
When my son’s health improved, I returned to work as a Beautician while continuing to run my online business.

My life is full, but I am hopeful.

In April 2021, everything shifted. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I went through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and years of hormone therapy. My doctors suggested that I slow down working, but without financial support, I simply couldn’t. I kept working through treatments, even on the hardest days.

I never forget my seven-year-old son’s voice when other children teased him about my look (Hair loss). He hugged me and whispered, “Mum, you are beautiful.” His love kept me going on and showed me the light at the end of the tunnel.

But in May 2025, I received devastating news: the Cancer had returned more aggressively and was growing rapidly. I had my surgery in August, and as I prepared for more chemotherapy, the clinic I was working for closed suddenly, and I never got paid my final wages.

Now, at a time when I need calm to heal, my family is struggling to cover our mortgage, bills, our son’s needs, and the medical costs not covered (like the Penguin Cold Cap).
I refuse to give up. So I’m putting my energy into my online tableware business to support my family and make a difference for people like myself.
This is more than a business. It’s how I can support my family, pay for treatment, and raise the money to buy the Pinguin cold cap for the Cancer Society.
